Welcome to our photo album! Since 1996, we've taken over 7,250 registrations from students in order to become licensed to sell real estate, become Certified Pest/Wood Inspectors, work as a home inspector, manage real property, work as a referral agent, work as a mortgage broker or banker, manage a real estate office or to maintain their professional license.

Below you will see a small sampling of what goes on behind the scene inside our classrooms and at other professional functions.     Thanks for visiting us - and make sure to come back soon!

The Western NY School of Real Estate participated in the 2001 annual Agent's Day Celebration held at the Adams Mark Hotel in downtown Buffalo, NY [at the waterfront]. Professionals from across the region came together to learn more about the real estate industry, products & professional seminars. Legendary master National Sales Trainer and author Floyd Wickman presented "How to Become, Stay and Feel Successful". This event is hosted by the Nigara Frontier Builders Association and the Greater Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors.

Floyd Wickman and School President Mike Brady pose together between sessions at the 2001 Agent's Day Trade Show.

The Western NY School of Real Estate participated in the 2000 annual Agent's Day Celebration held at the Buffalo Sheraton Hotel in Cheektowaga, NY. Thousands of agents and other real estate professionals came from all over the State to learn more about real estate products & education. The event is hosted by the Nigara Frontier Builders Association and the Greater Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors.

Here's some photo's of our Certificate Program for Mortgage Processing - students prepare for a career as a Mortgage Processor and will soon be on their way to their paid & unpaid internships.

The President of the School, Michael K. Brady, welcomes all students to the special Columbus Day program entitled "Educational Extravaganza". Nearly 200 students from all over New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio enrolled in this special 10 hour continuing education program.  Our Columbus Day program is an annual event where students can earn substantial continuing education credit for their real estate license renewals.

Here's one of our Technical Instructors' presenting some financing related information to agents who wish to upgrade their licenses and become NYS Certified Real Estate Brokers (Jamestown location). Broker courses include topics such as: mortgage finance, law of agency, appraisal and office management considerations.

These photos came from a recent class we held in Rochester as part of our new TUITION-FREE programming!. Nearly 100 students earned 22.5 hrs of New York State approved credit in 3-easy days for less than $100. The course title: "Introduction to Appraisal for Better CMA's".

The instructor was School President, Michael Brady, reMBA, IFA.

This class is called "Working w/buyers: Creative Financing Techniques" and was held at our Williamsville location. Expert guest speakers are brought in to discuss specialized subjects like "non-traditional" income & credit.

TUITION-FREE programming continues to bring in over 20% of our students. This class was held in Buffalo.

Dan O'Flaherty, teaches in our southern tier locations and specializes in "Manufactured & Modular Housing". This session was held at our Jamestown, NY location.

This was one of the three programs offered at our Educational Extravaganza.

Mark Lillenstein, Esq. presented another popular program at our Extravaganza entitled: "Staying Out of Trouble with Real Estate Contracts".

Our Home Inspector Certification classes continue to be our most popular programs. Students come from all areas of the State and have diverse backgrounds including: Building Inspectors, Municipal Code Officers, Contractors and real estate professionals.

There are a number of components to the program and if a student wishes to just learn more about specific things individual New York State approved courses may be taken.

Another program offered during the Educational Extravaganza, entitled: "Challenging Real Property Assessments" was jointly presented by NYS Technical Instructor's Harry Williams and Walter Allen.

Through our Center for Technology, we offer a wide variety of accredited computer courses including: Windows Computer Training, Intro to Microsoft Word, Intro to Microsoft Excel, Intro to the Internet & World-Wide-Web, Intro to Wordperfect, Creating Your Own Web Page and much more!  Timothy Trabold is our NYS Technical Instructor of Real Estate (shown above) and is presenting Introduction to Windows.

This computer class is being offered at our Amherst, NY location.  When classes are scheduled at any of our other New York State approved locations, we have a maximum of five students (one-person per computer).  Classes have also been held in Olean, Houghton, East Amherst, Rochester, Cheektowaga, Williamsville, Jamestown, Fredonia and West Seneca.

This photo represents a popular course entitled: "The Real Estate Management Development Program" held at our Amherst location. Students learn about management considerations in a successful real estate practice. NYS Technical Instructor Lou Izzo is shown here.

Class participation is a must in our Real Estate Management Development Program! Students seem to enjoy the interaction and critical thinking!

Group activities play a big part of our educational programs.  Adults learn better when they're involved!  This popular program entitled: "The Executive Program in Real Estate" covers appraisal concepts (the direct sales approach and how to make dollar value adjustments as well as the cost approach); financing methods & strategies; and working with for-sale-by-owners, expired listings and canvassing methods.

School President, Michael Brady is presenting a marketing plan/portfolio used when working with For-Sale-By-Owners and Expired listings.  Students are encouraged to gather together their credentials as well as forms typically used in the real estate industry in order to enhance their professionalism when making presentations to clients & customers.  This is another segment of the Executive Program in Real Estate.

We also go to area schools to discuss real estate topics and talk about careers in real estate.
