To Students and the General Public:
Since 1996, over 6,200 men & women from all over New York State have attended courses at the Western NY School of Real Estate to become real estate salespeople, brokers, Certified Pest & Wood Technicians, referral agents & assistants, appraisers, property managers, mortgage processors & underwriters, investors and home inspectors. This page and it's related links were created to inform you of specific actions we have taken to express our sincere interest and desire to have home inspectors licensed and regulated by the State to protect professional practicing home inspectors and the general public-at-large.
Since our founding, we have had the most comprehensive home inspection training program found anywhere in Western NY. We have conferred the designation, Certified Home Inspector to many current practicing inspectors and offer only New York State approved courses to our program participants.
Our program has been enhanced several times since 1996 to conform with other States that already have licensing in place. It is our sincerest intent to have the most qualified individuals hold the title "Certified Home Inspector".
