A Message From the President of the WNY School of Real Estate...

As we begin the new Century, the real estate industry will continue to become an increasingly complex environment.  We offer a wide variety of programs to help you meet these challenges.  Through our Center for Technology, we offer a wide range of computer-related classes (that also grant 3 hours of continuing education credit each).  The development of a service conscious yet technically competent group of individuals is the goal of the School.

The WNY School of Real Estate is the first multi-faceted real estate school to be centrally located in Erie County, New York.  The School has expanded throughout Western NY and serves Erie, Chautauqua & Cattaraugus counties.  Students are also attracted from adjacent counties such as Monroe, Niagara, Allegheny and Wyoming due to our wide variety of course offerings, competitive pricing and flexible hours.

We want to be your main source for high quality real estate education at an affordable price.  When deciding where to attend for your prequalifying or continuing education courses, take into consideration the qualifications of our highly skilled faculty and then compare.  In order to facilitate the learning process, we utilize the services of a wide variety of instructors who specialize and have mastered their particular field of study (i.e., appraisal & valuation, environmental concerns, mortgage finance, fair housing, legal instruments, sales management, etc.) to just name a few.

The WNY School of Real Estate is accredited by the State of New York through the Department of State, Division of Licensing Services.  The School's curricula and examinations are approved in advance by the Department of State through it's Examination Unit in Albany, New York.

We are also accredited by the State of Florida, Pennslyvania and Ohio (in Ohio for non-resident licensees).

The School is a member of the highly respected Real Estate Educator's Association.

We are the only New York State school with dual approval of our Salesperson Qualifying Course in New York and Pennsylvania.   Call the Educational Coordinator for more information on this program.

More specifically, the mission of the WNY School of Real Estate is to develop and provide, high- quality, affordable, public and professional programs to interested individuals which are geographically accessible to residents throughout the greater Buffalo region and maintain an admissions policy whereby qualified students may fulfill New York State requirements toward licensure or maintenance of a professional license.  Under this broad statement, the following goals have been established: (1) to offer programs that are current and continually assessed so as to meet the needs of a diverse student population and facilitate the acquisition of general and technical educational competencies in an ever-changing economic climate; (2) to maintain cost-effective courses through various cost containment programs; and (3) the development of new programs and the maintenance of an educational climate conducive to the growth of all faculty will be fostered to augment the professional skills needed to serve a changing, culturally diverse student population.
