ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

To meet the minimum statutory requirement, attendance shall be computed on the basis of an hour equaling 50 minutes. For every 50 minutes of instruction, a ten-minute break is earned. To satisfactorily complete any qualifying course, a student must attend 36 of the 45 hours of class instruction (exclusive of time devoted to examination and review). If a student fails to meet the State's statutory minimum, the student may make up the missed subject matter during a subsequent class.

Attendance requirements for all other courses shall be computed on the basis of an hour equaling 60 minutes. To satisfactorily complete any continuing education course at the WNY School of Real Estate, a student must physically attend 90% of the normally scheduled classes. No examination is required for any continuing education program per DOS regulations.

TRANSCRIPT DATA BANK PROGRAM

The Western New York School of Real Estate provides all students with the opportunity to condense all their previous real estate learnings into one concise transcript. The transcript will note all courses which the student attended here at the School as well as courses taken elsewhere. Course work successfully completed at another approved entity will require official certificates of completion from the college, university or organization to be submitted to the Educational Coordinator at the WNY School of Real Estate.

The student should make their request in writing and provide their social security number (or social insurance number for Canadian residents). Courses posted will show as a "transfer" and will indicate the transferring institution, course title, date, grade and applicable hours. There is no fee for adding courses to the databank. If a student wishes to receive a copy of their transcript, a request must be made in writing along with a $10 processing fee.
